Trust and fund are the financial instruments newly created in China during the
transitional market-oriented reform period. The prime priorities of TFI are
to accumulate and enrich the knowledge relating to trusts and funds on the
one hand and conduct studies on the fundamental legal principles of trust and
fund, their operational procedures, backgrounds and instrumental values on
the other by incorporating experiences and learning lessons from other jurisdictions
with the ultimate pursue of improving our capacities in conducting comparative
studies and broadening the space of their practical utilities.
